Tax Attorney

Lowenstein Sandler’s Tax practice is seeking a highly qualified Associate in class years 2021 – 2018 to join the team in our New York City, Roseland, NJ, or Washington, DC office.  This position involves counseling on the tax impact of domestic and cross-border transactions such as M&A, joint ventures, leveraged buy-outs, divestitures and restructurings, as well as providing tax advice to multinational corporations, startups and their founders, large investment funds, and ultrahigh net worth individuals.  Candidates should have 2 – 5 years of transactional tax experience with a major law firm or accounting firm, excellent academic credentials, and NY/NJ/DC bar admission.  The expected salary range for candidates meeting the requirements of this position in class years 2021 through 2018 is $225,000 to $345,000. The actual pay will be at Lowenstein Sandler’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.  Our benefits package includes coverage options for medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life insurance, disability, FSAs, 401K, and paid time off. Lowenstein Sandler is committed to equal employment opportunity and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with physical and/or mental disabilities.
