Labor of Love: Reproductive Rights, Health, and Justice in NJ

In the wake of Roe v. Wade’s demise, abortion access across the nation has been thrown into chaos.
With the enactment of laws in various jurisdictions that ban and/or severely restrict abortion, we invite you to join this conversation as we explore the shifting landscape of reproductive health, rights and justice while identifying meaningful ways for legal professionals to effectively advocate for bodily autonomy.

Please join NJWLA’s Women’s Leadership and Reproductive Rights committees along with supporting organizations for a Zoom Panel Discussion.

Meet Our Panelists:
Diamond J. Brown, Counsel, Lawyers Network,
Center for Reproductive Rights

Dr. Kristyn Brandi, Darney Landy Fellow at the American College of
Obstetricians and Gynecologists

Alejandra Sorto, Campaign Strategist for the ACLU-NJ

Melissa Torres-Montoya, Senior Lawyer Engagement Manager at If/When/How

Moderated By:
Penny M. Venetis, Director, International Human Rights Clinic
Distinguished Clinical Professor of Law
