Join us for a dynamic, interactive dinner program discussing what got us to the era of the #MeToo Movement and where we go from here. The program includes an introduction from former NJ Supreme Court Associate Justice Helen Hoens, a viewing of the groundbreaking documentary, RBG, and a look at the progressive pre-#MeToo groundwork put in action during the illustrious career of US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The panelists will then discuss the following issues:
- Landscape Before the #MeToo Movement
- Sexual Assault Victims and the Origins of the #MeToo Movement
- Impact of the #MeToo Movement on Prevention and Remedial Measures, as well as on Ethical Measures in the Practice of Law
- Impact of the #MeToo Movement on State and Federal Law
- Societal Effects of the #MeToo Movement
- Future of #MeToo and #TimesUp
This program has been approved for 4 hours of total CLE credit, including 1 .5 hour s of credit towards ethics/professionalism.
