The program provided a wine lesson guided by Wine Associate, Bill Burke, from Gary’s Wine & Marketplace. NJWLA’s Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Directors, Jessica Carroll, Abigail Remore and Grace Byrd, planned this event designed to engage young attorneys and guests in a casual atmosphere, offering education and networking. The YLD hosts two events each year with themes and topics aimed at their committee members’ interests. The NJWLA is an independent association of over fifteen hundred attorneys, law students and judges in New Jersey. Its mission is to retain women in the legal profession through education and activism; promote its members to the highest levels of law firm, government, academic, community and corporate positions; and endorse qualified female attorneys for appointments to the state and federal judiciary.
