Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Atlantic City, NJ office for a litigation associate to join a fast-paced, national litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of general litigation experience. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Excellent research, writing and analytical skills required.
2. Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery preferred.
3. Clerkship or large law firm experience is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

1. This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

1. Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

Visual Acuity

1. Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
