Labor & Employment Associate

The New Jersey office of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., has an opening for a bright, energetic, and hard-working Labor & Employment Associate. The candidates should have 3-5 years of labor and employment defense experience. The position provides the opportunity to work both independently and as part of our strong Labor & Employment Group.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working on employment litigation, as well as some experience in traditional labor law and counseling clients in all aspects of labor and employment law. Knowledge in the areas of discrimination and whistleblower law, leave law compliance and wage and hour compliance are preferred. The candidate will also possess superior academic credentials and excellent research, writing and communication skills; and will be prepared to work both independently and collaboratively on a variety of substantive matters. Must be bar admitted in the state of New Jersey. Judicial clerkship preferred, but not required.
