The Firm’s Florham Park Office seeks an insurance coverage litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. Our New Jersey practice represents and advises national and international insurers in a broad range of coverage cases across the Unites States, including a wide range of complex insurance coverage matters, principally involving pollution, toxic tort, asbestos, construction defect, products liability, errors and omissions, and excess liability. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney who is able to work within a busy and fast-paced team environment and looking to grow.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting pleadings and briefs;
- Preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients;
- Analyzing insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions and providing coverage recommendations for clients;
- Conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis;
- Drafting interrogatories and document demands;
- Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation;
- Attending depositions, hearings, and mediations as required;
- Submitting filings to the court.
Education and Experience
- JD/LLM;
- Admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, additional admissions a plus;
- Insurance coverage experience, ideally with General Liability policies or working on pollution and/or construction matters;
- Litigation experience.

- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
