Hiring attorneys for growing transactional practice at well-established NJ firm

MARC Law is excited to announce that we are looking to build a robust transactional practice that would not only serve our existing clients but also help us grow in the area.  That build would include an attorney or team of attorneys that would advise clients on general corporate and business law issues and compliance matters. A portable and expanding book of business, although not a requirement, is highly desired.  He or she will represent sophisticated firm clients in mergers and acquisitions, commercial, and other transactional work, including preparing and negotiating acquisition agreements, associated documents, and due diligence in connection therewith.  Strong communication and negotiation skills are required.   The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years relevant experience the business in transactional work.

If you are qualified and interested in this position, please email MARC’s Chief Operating Officer, John Neubauer, at jneubauer@marc.law with your resume.

About MARC

McCusker, Anselmi, Rosen, & Carvelli, known as MARC, opened its doors in Chatham, N.J., in 1996 when four attorneys decided to leave big litigation firms and create a smaller practice that delivers large-firm quality with small-firm efficiency. The firm has extensive experience in a wide spectrum of litigation and related matters, including environmental law and litigation, investigations, remediation, and governmental compliance; labor and employment law and litigation and counseling; complex commercial litigation; First Amendment and media law counseling and litigation; personal injury defense and shareholder/partnership litigation.

Today, with offices in Florham Park and Manhattan, MARC has developed a thriving practice dedicated to both zealous litigation advocacy and creative business solutions. The firm’s clients include many Fortune 100 companies, small businesses, and individuals alike. MARC remains committed to the principles upon which it was founded: top-notch legal advice, cost-effectiveness and excellent client service.

MARC prides itself on delivering quality in advocacy and work product. We thrive in an atmosphere of effective client communication and trust. And we are always personally accessible to our clients, and promptly answer messages, emails, and faxes.

Tough, Practical Litigators.
MARC is dedicated to providing value. We are hands-on litigators who operate “lean and mean” but with all the resources necessary to win. We offer large-firm knowledge and expertise with small-firm accessibility.

Cost-Effective Representation.
We always seek the least disruptive and most efficient way of resolving disputes, but we have the tenacity and resources to deal aggressively with unreasonable adversaries. Our hourly billing rates are fair and competitive, and we will consider engagement on an alternative-billing basis upon request.

We believe in overcoming obstacles and delivering results.
