FinTech Associate

Lowenstein Sandler’s FinTech Group is looking for a motivated and ambitious Associate with 4 – 6 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience to join our fast-paced practice advising some of the fastest growing FinTech broker-dealers, robo-advisers and crypto-focused companies.  Preferred qualifications include commercial and regulatory experience with: Non-Fungible Token (“NFT”) structuring and offerings; Decentralized Autonomous Organization (“DAO”) projects; Web3 blockchain applications, decentralized finance, staking, peer-to-peer cryptocurrency lending, yield and remittance products; reviewing, researching and analyzing federal securities laws and regulations, as well as FINRA rules; forming FINRA member broker-dealers; advising crypto exchanges and other blockchain focused companies; reviewing FinCEN AML regulations and advising necessary compliance; licensing entities with states as virtual currency businesses and money transmitters; responding to and navigating SEC, FINRA and state regulatory examination and/or enforcement processes; drafting written supervisory procedure manuals and anti-money laundering procedures; and drafting Form ADV and related procedures and contracts.  This position can be based in our New York City, Roseland, NJ, or Washington, DC office.
