TITLE: Deputy Attorney General 4

SALARY: $63,808.95 to $92,521.59

LOCATION: Division of Alcohol Beverage Control

NUMBER OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE: One (1)

DUTIES: Under direction of a Deputy Attorney General 1 or 2, or other supervisory official in the Department of Law and Public Safety, represents the Division of Alcohol Beverage Control; conducts work concerned with the detection and prosecution of administrative violations; interprets and enforces law, regulations; as the Attorney General’s representative, participates in legal and related activities involving federal and local jurisdictions and other State entities; does other related work as required.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor. Admission to practice in the State of New Jersey is required.

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience as a practicing attorney.

LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
