Deputy Attorney General 4 – Employment Litigation

TITLE: Deputy Attorney General 4
SALARY: $64,925.61 to $94,140.69
LOCATION: Division of Law
Employment Litigation Section
Richard J. Hughes Justice Complex
25 Market Street, Trenton, NJ

NUMBER OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE: TBD
DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Section Chief and/or Assistant Section Chief of the Employment Litigation Section, responsible
handling a wide range of federal and State court employment litigation matters including allegations of discrimination, workplace harassment,
retaliation for whistleblower activities, and violations of the Family & Medical Leave Act.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor. Admission to practice as an Attorney at Law in the State of New
Jersey is required.

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience as a practicing attorney.

LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee
mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

PREFERENCE: Preference will be given to candidates with employment law or general litigation experience.
