Hours: Full-Time (1,800 Billable Hours)
Reports to: Counseling Practice Group
Objective: NFC expects this position to be held by a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who excels in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment that values top-quality work and

Essential Functions:
Applicants must have 2-5 years of substantive employment law experience.
Responsibilities are focused on supporting the firm’s COUNSELING Practice Group, which is dedicated to partnering with NFC’s private sector corporate clients in New Jersey and New
York. Work shall include:
- Research regarding a wide range of employment issues, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour issues, FMLA issues, sick leave laws, leave of absence issues,
training requirements, RIFs, etc. - Assisting with the counseling of clients on a wide variety of employment issues
- Document and Policy Preparation (e.g., Handbooks, Separation Agreements, Policies, etc.)
- Assisting with the preparation of materials for Training Sessions
- Assisting with Workplace Investigations
- Assisting with Audits
Skills Required:
- Must be admitted to the NJ Bar
- Excellent research skills
- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively and positively in a dynamic team environment
- The ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
- The ability to manage multiple clients and matter
