NJWLA congratulates all seven (7) of the new State court judges confirmed by the Senate this week – Six of them are women! Best wishes to Lori Grifa, former commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs, and former chief of staff in the state Office of the Attorney General; Joanne Cocchiola, a municipal court judge, former mayor of Nutley, and former associate counsel for the N.J. Sports and Expo. Authority; Heather Taylor, the chief ethics officer for the Governor since 2014, and former deputy attorney with the Division of Criminal Justice in the state Office of the Attorney General; MeLinda Hawkins Taylor, a former deputy attorney general and assistant prosecutor; Linda Hynes, a Burlington County commissioner; Jill Mayer, a former acting Camden County prosecutor; and Aldo Russo, of Lamb Kretzer in Secaucus.
