NJWLA Supports and Joins in Statements Issued by NJSBA and ABA

The New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA) strongly supports and joins the New Jersey State Bar Association’s public statement on its Commitment to the Rule of Law and Fostering a Diverse and Inclusive Legal Community.

In accordance with our mission, the NJWLA will continue to promote and foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive bar.

We also echo the sentiment expressed by the American Bar Association’s public statement, “The ABA supports the rule of law,” including the following call to action:

“We urge every attorney to join us and insist that our government, a government of the people, follow the law. It is part of the oath we took when we became lawyers. Whatever your political party or your views, change must be made in the right way.

Americans expect no less.”

Thank you,
Renée A. Rubino
