Fox Rothschild has an opening for an associate in the Gaming Department. The rapidly expanding Gaming Department is already one of the largest of its type in the world, concentrating on the licensing and regulation of casinos, racetracks and technology providers, including internet gaming, sports betting and e-sports companies. It is an international practice led by attorneys recognized by Chambers US and Chambers Global.
This position can reside in the Firm’s Atlantic City, NJ; Morristown, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; or Princeton, NJ offices. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of corporate, transactional, or regulatory work. Large law firm experience is preferred. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the state where the office resides.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Gaming law, regulation, licensing and compliance experience preferred
- Corporate and/or finance background is a plus.
- Superior academic record and excellent writing skills required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
