Responsibilities
Gregory P Helfrich & Associates (In-house defense counsel office for State Farm Insurance Company in Summit, NJ) is seeking to fill an Attorney opening. Candidate must have excellent communication, organization, and technology skills. Position requires resourcefulness and strong work ethic with ability to independently manage cases from answer to trial while providing superior customer service. Candidate should have 3 to 5 years insurance defense experience, with trial experience a plus.
We provide a congenial work environment with a manageable case load, ample support staff and no billable hour requirement. Qualifications

- Law degree from an ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey and a member in good standing with the state bar
- 3 to 5 years of experience preferably in insurance defense
- Experience working in a paperless environment
- Strong automation/technical skills
