North Brunswick, NJ – NJWLA board members gathered in person at B2Bistro for the 2021 New Jersey Women Lawyers Association Board Installation Dinner.
Immediate Past President Jemi G. Lucey offered the opening remarks, The Honorable Jessica S. Allen, U.S.M.J. administered the oath of office to incoming NJWLA President, Dina M. Mastellone, and the entire board. NJWLA was honored to have The Honorable Lois H. Goodman, U.S.M.J. attend the dinner to celebrate the incoming Board. Mastellone addressed the Board about her vision for the upcoming year, emphasizing the importance of continuing NJWLA’s diversity and allyship endeavors, increasing collaboration between NJWLA and other diversity bar organizations, using our voices to advocate for societal change and giving back while moving the organization forward in its mission of advancing all women in the law in the State of New Jersey.
The NJWLA is an independent association of over two thousand attorneys, law students and judges in New Jersey. Its mission is to retain women in the legal profession through education and activism; promote its members to the highest levels of law firm, government, academic, community and corporate positions; and endorse qualified female attorneys for appointments to the state and federal judiciary.
