The New Jersey Women Lawyers Association is pleased and honored to support the nomination of Fabiana Pierre-Louis to the New Jersey Supreme Court. NJWLA is thrilled that Governor Murphy has nominated Fabiana Pierre-Louis to the New Jersey Supreme Court and we wholeheartedly support the nomination of this dedicated, experienced and exceptionally qualified woman to our State’s highest court.
Ms. Pierre-Louis is a graduate of Rutgers University Law School and has had a distinguished career both in the U. S Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey and in private practice. Ms. Pierre-Louis spent nine years as a federal prosecutor and was Attorney-in-Charge of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Camden, responsible for oversight of all criminal matters handled by that office. Ms. Pierre-Louis has investigated and prosecuted a variety of criminal matters, including public corruption matters, federal narcotics offenses, national security matters and child exploitation offenses. After leaving the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Ms. Pierre-Louis joined Montgomery McCracken as a partner in its White Collar and Government investigations practice group. Ms. Pierre-Louis previously served as a law clerk to the Hon. John E. Wallace, Jr. on the New Jersey Supreme Court. Ms. Pierre-Louis is first generation American and the daughter of immigrants from Haiti. As a Black woman, she will bring a well needed diverse perspective to the Court from her own life experiences.
