The Eighth Annual NJWLA & ECBF “Fore Ladies Only” Golf Outing and Clinic was held on Monday, June 24th. With a clear and warm forecast, our participants were able to enjoy the picturesque Cedar Hill Golf & Country Club in Livingston and all of its amenities. Golfers were able to choose between a full 18 hole course, a shortened 9 hole game, a Beginner Clinic, an Advanced Clinic or an afternoon at the pool. Welcome remarks were presented by our honored guest, Secretary of State, Tahesha Way. Secretary Way welcomed the guests and recognized a Proclamation declaring June Women’s Golf Month. Each year, the women provide a selected charity with support, funding and a platform to express its story and mission. This year’s charitable partner was the National Council of Jewish Women, Essex County (NCJW/Essex). NCJW is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who strive to collaborate with the community to improve lives of women, children & families. NCJW/Essex’s projects fall into three main categories: Community Services, Advocacy and The Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women.
